connecticut 1930s beauty
This is what I think when someone talks about a classic 1930s house. Sleek lines, geometry and volume. And beautiful windows! How irresistible is this Connecticut house surrounded by 82 beautiful acres and plenty of hiking trails. I certainly wouldn’t mind living there, and if I had a studio like this I just might find the artistic spirit and start painting there or something…
I just wanted to add thought that looking at the decor I think of the first House of Anaïs we had in the English countryside. It was also 1930s build, but a traditional cottage model, so rather small. However, we inherited from the owners a similar table and chairs that this house had (except our table was round) and we also had this wood-colour panelling in the living room where we had out baby grand piano. Oh those sweet memories!
