classical californian beauty

We were driving back home today when I spotted this house – a real classical beauty (the photos here do not really serve justice) in Atherton California. Magnificent gardens surrounding this house. High ceilings and nice covings (I am a huge fan of coving as they can easily transform your house at a rather low cost), calming colours and lovely entrance with a curving staircase.

Simple verdict – very nice indeed! But what is it with the estate agents taking such low quality pictures on these houses – if they manage to sell this they are in the making of 6 figure commission (and not starting with one either). Can they not afford a better quality camera??
