Architects Ruud Wisser in Netherlands have transformed this waterfront church in Rotterdam into a modern spacious house filled with beautiful details. I have seen before old English stone churches and Victorian schoolhouses being transformed to fit the current standards, but this is a first one where the outcome is so modern. Then again, the starting point was more contemporary, as this is a 1930s wooden church.

An impressive house in a great location, and the house certainly fits well in the neighbourhood after the transformation.
