apartment renovation project kickoff

My youngest sister had bought her very first apartment and it certainly calls for some TLC. Looks like the previous owner did not touch anything since the 70s based on the wallpapers and the dirty ceilings. This weekend is about painting and finding inspirations in terms of style and colour. It’s going to be hard work but fun!

And i should mention that my sister has already slaved off many hours to strip off the wallpapers and put several while base coats on…I’ll start with the orange – Ready-set-go!

Looks like the apartment is going to have some of the year’s trendy modern colours such as orange, dark brown, cream and lime or olive green…light base colour and statement accents walls!

Help needed – florals, dirt and vinyl floors

Too many internal doors – open doorways are the modern thing (a good extractor fan is then needed in the kitchen though)

Kitchen will do for a while with new fan, worktops, door handles and the flooring and paint
