a meal with a sea view

A meal with a view is what one gets on a cruise ship. Unfortunately there isn’t that much to see when out on the open seas, but at least one can wonder what the other vessels are doing.

On our way back from Estonia we had a larger and slower ship, so we decided to sample the a la carte menu. And we were not disappointed. The food looked great and tasted as good as it looked too. It felt like a mini-date as the grandparents were looking after the kids. Lovely experience indeed!

Wondering what these vessels were doing parked out in the seas

Delicious carpaccio to start with. For main course I had oh so creamy pasta – it just melt in the mouth

Coffees are not the specialty on the boat but the chocolate was great

Amazing dessert – rhubarb terrine with raspberry ice cream and fresh strawberries (guess one could have eaten the petals too but I did not try that..)
