well-blended old and new in a stone house

The renovation of this old stone house has been done with great attention to detail. There is a lovely mix of old and new, and I just love this dining room with the modern classic Tulip table and chairs from Eero Saarinen. There is also a beautiful old fireplace with rustic baskets of firewood and lovely white-painted beamed ceiling. The creme de la creme in this room is this colourful, somewhat kitsch Love-poster. I like this mix!
