tropical pool dreams

Finland’s been hit by unusually hot and humid weather of mid-80s (30c) where at the same time the sun is shining, it’s thundering and a tropical rain keeps pouring here and there. We have a little round pool in the garden, but I am certainly dreaming of a large pool (and why not a hot tub for those unforeseen cooler nights).

I love the setting of this ameba-shaped pool cum spa area – it certainly looks lush and tropical, but a second look in the surrounding forest makes me think that this just might work in more “arctic” settings too – such as Finland…
