going local: delectable leeds castle in kent – enter the castle (pt.2)

The oldest parts of Leeds Castle are around 1000 years old, and yet the last owner, Lady Baillie, lived in the castle still in the 1970s before she gifted the property to the National Trust upon her death. Her rooms remain intact in the castle, and there are also old rooms used to queens and other royalty throughout the times. So much history in this castle – like in many other castles in England!
